CardMitra guide: NFC business cards for professionals

An NFC business card lets a professional share an editable contact profile during a meeting; QR and direct links provide alternatives. Publish only details you want public, test the profile and let visitors choose whether to save your contact or send details back. A tap does not identify the visitor or authorize automatic outreach.

Consultants: make the next step clear

Add a work email, role, relevant services and a booking link. Check the destination and avoid publishing private details just because a field is available. Share the published profile link in your email signature too.

Founders: prepare before an event

Open your profile on another phone, verify your company link and test the contact download. Keep QR or a direct link available when NFC is unsupported.

The visitor chooses whether to save the downloaded contact. A tap does not automatically insert details into their address book or reveal their identity.

Service professionals: keep enquiries private

A business profile can show services, current hours, an actual address, booking details and an optional gallery. Select your own Maps listing when relevant.

An optional enquiry form lets visitors deliberately share their details. Do not publish enquiries or imply customer endorsements without permission.

Follow up with consent and context

A profile view is not permission for marketing. Respond appropriately to people who chose to contact you and review any prepared message before sending. CardMitra does not automatically send when someone taps.

Notification delivery depends on configuration. Check saved enquiries rather than assuming an email arrived. Start with your published link and QR; physical cards remain preview-only at ₹2,499, or ₹1,499 with Mitra40.
