Terms of Service & Usage Agreement
Our terms are written to protect your identity, preserve platform integrity, and ensure smooth contactless exchanges.
Summary of key principles
- You own your content and digital links.
- Handles are permanent to prevent identity spoofing.
- Zero recurring app fees for recipients.
- Lost cards can be frozen instantly in 1 click.
Account Registration & Permanent Handles
To create a CardMitra profile, you must provide valid authentication credentials. Each account claims a unique permanent vanity username (e.g. username.cardmitra.com). Due to cryptographic public profile routing and physical hardware binding, handles cannot be transferred or reassigned once claimed.
Acceptable Use & Identity Integrity
You agree to represent your true identity or authorized business affiliation. Impersonation of other individuals, registered trademarks, or public officials is strictly prohibited and results in immediate account termination. You may not publish unlawful, defamatory, or malicious content.
NFC Hardware & Physical Card Ownership
When you purchase or receive a physical CardMitra NFC card, ownership of the physical medium belongs to you. You are responsible for safeguarding your card. If lost, you may freeze your card instantly via your dashboard. Lost cards do not expose account credentials.
Preview Status & Commercial Disclaimers
CardMitra features marked with 'Preview' or zero-cost hardware configurations operate under preview access. No commercial payments are charged, and preview orders do not reserve guaranteed manufacturing stock until final commercial rollout.
Intellectual Property & Brand Assets
The CardMitra name, squircle NFC logo, card engineering layouts, and website software are protected intellectual property. You retain full ownership of all custom logos, photos, and biographical text you upload to your profile.
Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
CardMitra is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis. We are not liable for business loss or disputes arising from peer-to-peer contact exchange. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of New Delhi.
